Honor is bringing another affordable smart phone to Malaysia

The Honor 6 is probably one of the best phones priced under RM1,000. If you’re looking for something cheaper, the Honor 3C Lite is coming to Malaysia very soon. This is basically a refreshed version of its cheap and cheerful Honor 3C that was priced at RM499.
Despite its “Lite” monicker, the Honor 3C Lite still has a 5″ IPS 720p HD display and it runs on a 1.3GHz Quad-Core MediaTek MT6582 processor that’s similar with the Honor 3C. It gets just 1GB of RAM but storage wise, it could be packing 16GB of storage, assuming if we are getting the same spec as Russia. If you need more, there’s a microSD expansion slot and like its predecessor, it will support dual-SIMs on 3G.

For imaging, it gets an 8MP f/2.0 main camera with 5 element lens while selfie shots are handled by a front 2MP shooter. There are other interesting features like the ability to launch apps from sleep by drawing alphabets on the screen. Out of the box, it will be running on a more current Android 4.4 KitKat with EMUI 2.0. Keeping the device juiced up is a decent 2,000mAh capacity battery which is 300mAh less than the original 3C.
In terms of design, Honor employs a pebble inspired look which results a more curved appearance and it is also available with a variety of back cover colours. In China it is known as the Honor 3C Play and it is sold in several variants with storage options ranging from 4GB to 16GB.
